The Ordos Yuansheng Photoelectric Co. Ltd is a high-tech enterprise that mainly specializes in manufacturing technologically advanced LTPSLCD/AMOLED display devices. It was established in May 2011 and is located in Ordos Equipment Manufacturing Base. With a total investment of RMB 22 billion, the Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd. Under the supervision of this group, the company is handling the 5.5th generation of LTPSLCD/AMOLED Project of Ordos City. The production lines of the company manufacturing display devices based on world’s most advanced new semiconductor technology, have been characterized by China's independent innovation and independent technology, which is not only the first high-tech major investment project for Beijing-Mongolia industry synergy but also, an important project vigorously instructed by the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The 5.5th generation LTPSLCD/AMOLED Project has been funded and set up through generous support of national and local government incentives. This project achieves monthly glass substrate output of 68,000 pieces. The globally-leading LTPSLCD/AMOLED technology is principally adopted to produce new-style flat panel display products with high resolution, brightness and color saturation. It answers to the display demands for manufacturing high-end smart phones, flat panel computers, AR/VR, smart watches and other cutting-edge products. The technology registers an annual output value approaching RMB 10 billion. Project production line shoulders the historical mission of making China's flat panel display technology and product come out top in the world. Products have been widely used by Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo and other world-renowned customers. At present, the 5.5th generation LTPSLCD/AMOLED Project is top of the line in terms of technical capacity at an industrial scale. In terms of mobile phones, the Company follows product and technology precedence strategy. The mobile phones with 0.6mm ultra-narrow frame were put into mass production in 2016. In 2017, the technology will be furthered by introducing mobile phones with visually unnoticeable 0.4mm ultra-narrow frame. The touch control module integration technology TDDI now enters mass production. The 3D touch control, fingerprint recognition and new integrated technologies of display panel have also been introduced. In terms of ultra-high resolution, the world's first-ever 2.1-inch VR display that features ultra-high pixel density up to 2300 PPI, hits a new cutting-edge standard in the industry. After mass production of frameless and full-screen profiled display technology, huge commercial profits will be gained during 2017-2018. In the past six years, Ordos Yuansheng Photoelectric Co. Ltd invested considerable financial and human resources for technological innovation, and applied for the patents in the United States, Japan, South Korea and Europe. As of May 2017, the Company obtained 284 patent licenses, including 130 concerning invention.
